Send data via RS232 with a transparent device

Oops, no I haven't.... And does every device need its driver or something like that? Or installing the VISA drivers woll recognice all of them?

Installing the VISA drivers will allow you to work with anything that is on serial ports, or GPIB, or some other things.  Doing the device drivers will also install DAQmx which will allow you to use any of the NI data acquisition devices.
