Kimse,

It sounds like you are having a relatively unique issue. If I could get just a bit more information, I think we can maybe get this taken care of.

1) Which windowas are you using? 64 bit or 32 bit?

2) Which labview 2009 are you using? 64 or 32 bit?

Could you do me a favor and open a blank VI, put a .net object onto the VI, such as a Rich text box, under the .net & ActiveX palette. Does labview crash? What about if you create a .net constructor node (of any type)?

Kyle

I am using windows 7 64-bit.

And i use labview 2009 32-bit

when i wanted to put Rich text box (from .net & Activex panel) , again labview itself. or when i wanted to put mathcalender or picture box again it closed itself..

it didnt close itself when i used others in .net & active palet, like activex container, .net container, web browser, windows media player.

Thanks

Kimse,

Your system is giving a crash symptomatic to a fundemental issue between your .net and labview communications. Is there any way I could get you to produce a dump log for the crash and attach it here?

Youll need this microsoft utility (userdump): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=E089CA41-6A87-40C8-BF69-28AC08570B7E&amp...

Instructions for dump file generation can be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/241215

Kimse,

Disregard the previous post please, I have found a few simpler steps we can do beforehand.

You can try a repair install (which is different than a re-install) by following these instructions:

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/FE6B641E86E55AF2862576DE00038001?OpenDocument

you may also be able to pull a useful dump from documents>>Labview Data>>LVfailurelog

Hi Kimse,

You may have to do one of two things. Try repairing your .NET assembly from contol panels. Also are you using LabVIEW 2010 or LabVIEW 2010 SP1?
