Hi,
One of my customer is using stepper motor for his application which is controlled through a serial port from Labview.
Recently their test machine was formatted and every appropriate driver software(since his application uses DAQ also) required was installed.
But now when he is trying to run the stepper motor from COM1(this was the port which was used initially),he is not able to drive it.
But he has identified that if he specifies VISA resource name as 'ASRL1::INSTR',he is able to drive the motor,but not when he specifies as COM1.
Since i have not seen the settings in his PC(either under MAX or device manager whether their is any configuration issue).I cannot provide any further info on it.
Can anyone confirm what could the reason for it & settings or troubleshoot required to check it?
