Set Color of Disabled ('Greyed out' Control

I have selected a control to be disabled & greyed out. Yet when I do the control, the control is 'blue-ed out' rather than grey - how can I change this?

Sarah,
I've not heard of that before. Test the attached vi (LV 6). Run it continuous and toggle the switch, see if it gives you grey or blue. Its grey on my PC. If you need LV 5, just comment back.

doug,
thanks for the vi, but I already solved the problem. I fixed it by clicking gray on the color palette and then on the background to my vi - this changed the 'greyed out' from blue to grey - but I don't know why because the background color for my vi was already gray. I hadn't even used the color blue at any point in the vi.
thanks,
sarah.

I have run into a similar problem. I have a floating control, so that I can use it on multiple tabs. When I disable it, it turns to the background color, rather than the control color or the tab color. I haven't found a way to truely "grey" it out.
