When I run the UI ExecSys VI from the original post in LV 2015 and press the browse button on the control, the loop indicators keep updating when the browse dialog is open, so I would say that it is fixed.
Minor point to the OP - using the stop function to stop your code is generally a bad idea. I hope you only did that because this is a quick example. If not, you should find another way to stop your parallel loops.
