Shared Variables not the same as Variables in IO Server

I have a number of items in my IO Server within a project. Not all of these converted over to being Shared Variables. These are of the type DBL and are read only. They are indicators on my server VI. I cannot use these on my client VI's as I cannot select them on my Shared Variables list (as they do not appear). How can I change this and also make them read/write.

It seems that anything that is Read, is not showing up in your second list.  Anything that is Read/Write is showing up.

Where did you get these screenshots?  Any chance it is a list you can select from for a variable that is set up to Write to?
