Signal Generation on a PCI6111

How do I generate a Continuous Sine wave then output it to a PCI6111 DAQ? I've used the Sine Waveform.vi and the AO Continuous Gen.vi that's shipped with LabView 6i. The waveform displayed on the graph in the vi is the correct frequency but the output , as seen on an external scope, isn't. No matter what freq. I change it to in the Sine Waveform.vi, it doesn't change on the output.

Hello;

The frequency of the signal in the output of the Analog Output channel is a function of different parameters. The Update frequency, the number of points per cycle, etc.

The best way to get used with the parameter set in the AO VIs is to play with that VI only and see how each parameter interferes with the frequency of the waveform.

You need to find the correct parameter set on the AO Continuous Gen.vi that matches your application needs.
