Silver XY Graph Control legend does not scale properly

When a Silver XY Graph Control is dropped on a front panel, and the control is set to "Fit Control to Pane", the graph legend does not move like it is supposed to. This seems to only affect the XY graph. The waveform graph/chart opererate correctly (i.e., like the Modern controls). Can anyone confirm this?

Confirmed.

Cheap workaround:

Take the Silver XY Graph and customize it.

Copy the background image of the graph and paste it into another "working" XY graph from the system or modern palette.

Your graph will now look like a silver style one, and have the legend scale/position properly.

Hi Chris,

I can also confirm this behaviour. The above workaround is a good means of getting it to behave properly.

I have also submitted this information as a corrective action request, so it should be looked into to be fixed in an update.

Hello,

Has this behaviour fixed in any LabVIEW 2012 update?

And, I do not really undertand the above mentioned workaround... I can only copy the background image, and when I copy and paste it to working Modern style XY Graph I still have the modern style Graph. Using Sylver Control in my application is important.

Hello D60,

This behaviour has not been fixed in LV 2012.

COPY - Please use "Copy to clipboard" by right clicking on the background

Copy.jpg

PASTE:

Paste.jpg

Please note that only the background of the graph will change. The rest of the elements such as the legend will not be altered (I did specify this was a cheap workaround :P)

In my case, this was not an issue, since I was only displaying the legend (which I made transparent anyway).

Please see the attached .ctrl file.

Merry Christmas!
