Simulation Interface Toolkit Connection Manager - Won't Link

The examples run fine, but the SIT Connection Manager wont show sinks/sources for model files. It connects fine, and shows and allows selection of mdl files, but the tree supposed to show the sinks and sources just doesnt populate, even for those example .mdl files which actually run.

Ben,

Make sure you have admin permission on the machine running the Connection Manager. Or more specifically permission to write to the project directory under LabVIEW install (default location: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\project\).

The reason is that the SIT Connection Manager attempts to create a temp file in the directory for model tree and fails if permission is denied.
