Sound Recognition

What is a good vi to use for recognizing a simple "beep" from a speaker? Nothing fancy, just needs to get the frequency and amplitude somewhat close.

   You can use the acquire sound express VI to acquire sound from a device. You can then wire it to a tone - Amplitude and frequency measurement express VI. Please refer to the attached picture. Also we have a number of express VI's which you can configure with a dialog. I would recommend the following training -

You should definitely try to look at the example programs shipped with LabVIEW.
