Speaker Recognition on labview 8.0 version

I am doing my final year project by using LABVIEW in speaker recognition.

My question is that is it necessary to detect a person voice by pitch, frequency etc. If it can't be made simple by comparing two voice signals?

And how to make database of voices and then call it?

I am a beginner in labview, please do help!

Or this VI would simply work for my project?
