Speech in labview

Hi,
I am a labview enthusiast who is interested in speech
technology.Is there any work going on in this field? I heard that NI
is developing something in this area....Or is somebody already
developed.Has anyone developed speech tools(techniques,algos etc.,)

Hi,

Are you interrested in speech recognition, or generating speech (or both)?

If you want to integrate this you can use ActiveX modules. The Application
wizard has an ability to 'speek'.

The techniques behind it all are of course more interresting, but I can't
help you with that...

Hi
Take a look at the CMU sphinx website.
The CMU ( canergie mellon university ) have some beautiful speech softwares,
with full source code.
http://fife.speech.cs.cmu.edu/sphinx/
