Stepper Motor & FP-DO-403

Hi,

I´m making a x-y table, and I must use the fieldpoint DO-403 to control the motors of this table. I have the current drives for the motors.

I don´t have conditions to buy a motion control board, and I don´t know how do control these motors.

I´m new at Labview, so I´m completely lost.

What do you suggest me?

Hello. I've never used fieldpoint, but I have successfully controlled stepper motors using NI USB DAQ. I think you would only need to modifiy the program so it will communicate via the Fieldpoint instead of the DAQ. The rest of the code , I think, is the same. Hope it helps!
