Steps to build a new Sensor block for EV3

Looking for a document / tutorial / link on how to create a ".ev3b" file for a new sensor block  that I'm building?

I have a sensor that's running in Linux environment, but I want add that as a sensor to EV3 and be able to do a "Block Import".

How can I create the block file .ev3b  to do that Block Import?

Looking for a document / tutorial.

You should take a look at the timestamp before bumping old threads.  This was already being talked about elsewhere at that point as well.
