You are only reading the notifier once. You need to put the Wait For Notification inside of a loop so that the notification can be constantly read.

Its in a loop now but as it stands my program no longer stops when i hit exit and i lose my held value of TQ1 Speed from its value to 0. any suggestion as to why might that be?
