Suggestions on writing a report about a toolkit which changes a csv file to word format.

I have made a toolkit which takes in the CSV file along with INI and template file and returns a word document having all the required data in form of tables. 

I am writing my semester report and confused about how to write in a good manner. Does anyone have a sample report ?

What are you looking for exactly? Reports that document software?

Such a report is not different from any report. Start with an overview, establish a context, explain the structure\philosophy, go into interesting details. But this is probably dictated for you in regulations.

It helps if the context\structure\philosophy\details are clear to begin with.
