Suitable FPGA board

Hi,

Which NI board is suitable to be used for image processing? The details that I want are:

  1. Language: Labview
  2. Applications : Image compression/processing (no need acquisition)

At this moment, I have NI MyRIO-1900. Is it suitable to be used for image processing?

Thank you

See http://www.ni.com/white-paper/11417/en/

What is your frame rate, type of processing, and size of each frame?

Hi,

I used medical/DICOM images. Most of the images has maximum 550 KB of size.

I want to process the image using partitioning concept (N x N), where N= 4, 8, 24.

Type of processing is compression.

Thank You

Hi,

Yes, I do. But, I don't want to acquire the image in real time.

Is it possible I use MyRIO + Vision Assistant for image compression?

Thank You

Is there a reason you don't use your computer?  If you are just processing images that you already have stored isn't that what a graphics card is good for.

Hi,

Actually I want to process a medical image (dicom) not standard image (jpeg, png, etc) using FPGA board. My concern is to apply algorithms to the image pixel. I hope you understand what I try to said.

Thank You
