TDMS Root sheet reading - Help needed

Hi,

I am quite new to TDMS files. I have a sample file with 2 sheets in which one sheet is designated as root sheet and the other sheet as data (Sheet concept from the point of excel). I have few informations to be read(Raw 5) from first sheet(Root sheet)in LabVIEW. I tried with TDMS libraries with LabVIEW,But I could read only the data. I also tried with excel fuctions as I was able to open this file in excel,but no success. I am attaching the sample file here.

I would really appreciate if any of you could help me to read that particular row.

From your description, I'm not sure what data you want to read. You said "I have few information to be read(Raw 5)", do you mean "Row 5"? I have used TDMS file viewer to look at the attached file and the file is OK. Have you tried using the TDMS files viewer? Can you tell me what part of data you want to get in the view of TDMS file viewer(for example, you can attached a screenshot to point it out) ?

Thanks for your information about "TDMS File Viewer". I wanted to read Row 5. Sorry about the typo. I created a new VI which will do what I required.
