TEK TDS3012C

Has anyone used the VIs for a TDS3012C??  I know they were written by TEK.  I'm trying to read a 1 HZ TTL sqwave.  Don't know what record length or max records mean on the front panel.  I have no trouble just blindly selecting values for those values and getting a 3 volt 1 khz sq wave to read correctly. When I try the 1 hz the readings on the VI Screen are not correct.  The VI just doesn't seem to be reading what the scope is seeing.  Periodically I get an error that says it lost its session w the instrument.  Why can't they just make a VI that looks like their scope frt panel????

I've got the 3012B, but I'm guessing they are the same.  If I remember right, the scope has a choice of 500 or 10000, with the default at 10000.  So set the Record Length to 10000 in the vi.
