Hi all,
First of all, I wasn't sure which board to post this as I couldn't find a suitable board for HMI or touch panel.
Basically, I'm having a problem with my newly bought TPC-2206. The unit is being installed in an equipment that we are building and has undergone several rapid power cycles. Yesterday, the TPC couldn't boot up. It shows the BIOS and a then a message saying that the disk fails to boot. I read here (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/ABCAD534864089EF8625793B007A8C5E) that the TPC is equipped with self-protection mode. I've pulled out the TPC, leave it for a day 'to rest' and still the problem persist. Has anybody experience something similar to this?
I could simply return the unit to NI and ask for a replacement. But when I was informed that the replacement unit will only come in 2 weeks, this became not as option to us as the machine's FAT is due next week. Any advice?
Thanks

I have a similar but slightly different problem. Maybe this thread is OK. My TPC-2206 worked well for several months. Now won't boot up. Message comes up to connect the windows installation disk then follow recovery steps. The TPC came with a driver disk but not a windows installation disk. Is this windows installation disk available?

Warn,
Please call National Instruments support and create a service request with one of our Application Engineers. From there, we can provide the image for you. Imaging requires either a Compact Flash (CF)-to-USB converter or a CF-to-SATA adapter as well as proper imaging software.
Best,
