Terminator I/O and LabVIEW not working!

I've got some Automation Direct/Host Engineering Terminator I/O modules w/ an ethernet interface that supports TCP/IP, UDP/IP, IPX and MODBUS TCP/IP. I currently use Entivity's Think & Do to communicate w/ this I/O to run a hydraulic test stand. I am trying to upgrade to LabVIEW. I have been assured by an NI sales rep. that this will all work. I have the I/O modules connected to my Windows XP PC and have no trouble communicating with them via TCP/IP and MODBUS TCP/IP using some simple utilities to view input states and force output states. LabVIEW doesn't seem to want to communicate w/ my I/O in any way.

Can anyone shed some light on my situation? Upgrading from Think & Do to LabVIEW should be simple enough, shouldn't it? Please provide detailed solutions if you have them.

Hello Henry,

At this moment it not clear to me why LabVIEW would not talk to you TCP/IP instruments. TCP/IP communication is based of an IP address and a specific port. So if you know you TCP/CP ip address then you should be able to talk easily to your instrument. Do you have an application setup in LabVIEW to talk to you instruments yet? If yes, than what kind of error are you getting? Also, do you have the modus LabVIEW libraries installed? If not, then you can download and install then from here.
