Text, graphics on the control design toolkit are overlapping

Text and objects displayed by the LabView Control Design Toolkit are overlapping each other.  This makes the displayed information on graphs and configuration options unreadable (multiple lines of text are overlapping as well as text on graphs, etc.)

It's almost as if I am having a resolution problem, but changing the resolution doesnt help (I am at 1400x1050).  This is the second time I have installed the entire LabView suite.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you use a custom desktop theme? Go to your graphics control panel and make sure the font is set to something normal.

I actually had normal font size selected, but for kicks i changed it to big and then back to normal, and then restarted labview and all of a sudden it worked out
