The equipment list on measurement & automation contains only 8 items

I am trying to run Labview 5.1 on to windows 2000.
When I go to Measurement and Automation/Devices and Interfaces and click on Insert, there are only 8 items showing.
When I run Windows NT, there are at least 30 items showing.
Is there a patch to fix this or what do I need to do different to run my existing hardware?

The board that I cannot install is a PCTIO-10 Timer card.

Hello,

I think that the reason why you get so many options in Windows NT, is that NT is not really a plug&play operating system, so you have to install the devices manually.

When you use any of the other Windows operating systems, which are plug&play, you have to install the driver software FIRST, and when you insert the board, the computer will automatically recognise the board. There is no need for manual installation. It should also automatically show up in MAX.
