A solution has been found, but this does not answer the 'Why did this happen' question that I would like to know. According to my rep, the code generator that's called once the DAQ Assistant is built got corrupted 'some how'. The solution was to scrap everything LabVIEW/NI related via Add/Remove Programs, run MSIBlast.exe to wipe everything clean, and reinstall LabVIEW. I was able to acquire LV 2009, so I got to upgrade via group license, but I still don't have an answer as to why this actually happened. If I hear anything from the powers that be, I will post it here (assuming non-propiatary information).
