Time in UTC format

Hi all,

Does anybody understand how this GetUTCoffset.vi supplied by NI works?

Cheers,

Hi battler,

it seems you found a "not complete" (or wrong) example on NI's website.

To make the vi deliver meaningful results you have to edit those two timerecords by making them have the correct date as default value (date given by their name)...

I just submitted a comment by the according button on the example's site to NI...

Thanks GerdW.

I used the Seconds to Date/Time.vi with input "to UTC" = TRUE.

To display the offset between UTC and local time one could subtract the appropriate cluster elements.
