Timed loop on RT PC targeting

Can Real Time PC targeting provide timed loop of exact 300us time interval with single cycle ? Yours sincerely

Short answer, no

no deviation from the desired loop rate is called jitter so if I ran at 299 us that has a jitter of 1us. Real time systems have much smaller jitter that windows but it is not 0 ( nothing ever will be). The question is how much can you Tolerate?  For most systems requiring low jitter then RT is acceptable.
