Hello,

I am trying to connect labVIEW 2010 to Compact LogixL23E Controller using RSLinx OPC Server. The driver type I've used is Ethernet Device and I have followed the step as suggested in the PDF file attached.In the DDE/OPC topic Configuration,  I clicked on Advanced Communication tab and selected the Remote option in Local or Remote Addressing option and when I clicked on Configure it asked me for a Bridge Device and I've selected Remote ControlNet. In the Remote Routing Details tab I've entered the name of the configuration driver as in the Bitmap file attached. When I tried to run the OPC test Client it popped out an error saying that the Path to remote ControlNet port is not correct. Can any one please tell me how to find/name the 'Path to remote ControlNet port'.

Hi Sunil,

We actually have a Developer Zone entry that specifically discusses connecting LabVIEW to an RSLinx OPC Server.  I'd recommend giving the example that it references a try to see if that connection is able to work.  It also has a section discussing the setup of the RSLinx server that it sounds like you're using.
