Toshiba TELI 1394b camera not recognized by LabView

This camera shows up as a USB camera when using vision assistant 8.0.  It works as a USB camera in Labview too.

It then shows up under MAX as NI-IMAQdx tab.  When I click
on the camera an error windows pop up saying the camera is neither recognized
as legacy camear or 1394 camera.  The error window says to
right click on the camera to select the driver.  But when I right click it only
have the selection for 1 driver which is the driver installed automatically by
windows.

I can provide more info if necessary.

Thanks

Hi kwzin,

Even though your camera is showing up in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), I would suggest that you go through the troubleshooting steps listed in the following KnowledgeBase article to associate the camera with the IMAQdx drivers:

Why Doesn't My Firewire (IEEE-1394) Camera Show Up in Measurement and Automation Explorer?

Also, I looked at the Toshiba-Teli website and I could not find any information on these cameras being IIDC compliant.  Do you know if they are?  This KnowledgeBase article discusses this requirement for our drivers:

How Can I Tell If My IEEE 1394 (Firewire) Camera Is Supported?

I hope this helps.
