Triggering Line scan Camera.

Hello all,

I'm trying to capture images with a line scan camera(Basler SPL4096 140km) using the frame grabber (NI PCI-E 1433). I want to stitch multiple lines to give a single image so I am using a property node to input the acquisition height. The camera is triggered by a TTL signal generated in the same VI. But when I am running the system, the VI is writing more TTL signals than that I need, say if I want to capture an image with a height of 3 lines, the VI is generating around 10 TTL signals instead of 3 (Picture 1 is the screenshot of the VI. Picture 2 is the output when I'm connecting the camera). If the same Vi is being operated without connecting the camera acquisition part, then I'm able to see that the system is generating 3 TTL signals only. So I hope the issue is with the camera acquisition part only.

Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated,

Many Thanks in Advance

Nijas

Hello NIJAS,

TTL signals are so sensitive to noise. It seems to my, that maybe you have a hardware problem. To be sure try to connect a real Oscilloscope over the TTL with the camera plugged.
