Hey adintern,
I went through our drivers database and was unable to find one for the mcc USB 1208fs. How were you communicating with the device when you were programming with LabVIEW 6.1?

Andrew,
The MCC daq devices have a different set of drivers for LabVIEW versions LV 8.2.1 and newer. See http://www.mccdaq.com/daq-software/universal-library-extensions-lv.aspx It is ULx.
I have one of the USB-1208 devices and just recently found out about this when I wanted to use it in a LV 8.5 application I wrote. The newer driver is actually nicer and resembles the DAQmx drivers quite a bit in the way you use them. Whereas the older Universal Library drivers for older versions of LabVIEW resembled using NI's traditional DAQ drivers.

Hey Andrew,
I contacted Measurement Computing support and they said this is likely not a LabVIEW related issue. You might have an outdated version of InstaCal, and should try downloading the newest version (6.1) on their Driver Site. Version 6.1 is compatible with your device.
If you are still unable to configure the ports of the device, and you are running a Windows 7 machine, you may have a virtual store issue. In that case, you should call Measurement Computin support at 508-946-5100 and they should be able to walk you through that issue.
Hope this helps.

First read analog channel through Instacal> test> analog. Note the channel which you are running and then connect in Labview the board number and channel same as in Instacal. It should work.

Glad to hear it's working!
