Trouble creating tasks after upgrade to 8.5.1, says RT and Host have different NI-DAQ

Hello all,

After upgrading to 8.5.1 (both Windows host and RT), I went to MAX to create some tasks for the DAQ in the RT chassis. Upon creating the tasks and trying to save them, it thows Error -88716, which means the Host and RT have different versions of NI-DAQ.

The Host has NI-DAQmx 8.7.1f2.  The RT has NI-DAQmx 8.7.1.

Any ideas? I've tried reloading. What's the "f2?".

The solution for my problem was to download and install NI-DAQmx 8.7.1f3. The f3 means "fix 3". This fixed the issue of RT and Host not seeing the same version of NI-DAQmx, and I'm now able to create tasks and run the DAQ. This is a known issue at NI with the driver that ships with 8.5.1 (which is NI-DAQmx 8.7.1f2).
