Trouble with shared variables over LAN

I am trying to use shared variables over LAN but I cannot find an example for that.

I have checked that NI Variable Engine service is running on both PCs.

I can ping both of them from each other.

But the vars cannot connect to each other, some error is shown (seen on the image attached).

Could it be a firewall issue?

I tried sth. even simpler, but even Search Variable Container does not work !?

It returns error 

Error -1950679035 occurred at Search Variable Container in Sender.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: (Hex 0x8BBB0005) Unable to locate the shared variable in the Shared Variable Engine (SVE). Deployment of this shared variable may have failed, the SVE has not started, or the SVE is too busy to respond to this request.

NI Variable Engines are running, I am using LV 2016 32 bit on Win 10 64 bit.

I did not find a way to edit my previous post, it occurs to be a FireWall issue.
I still have no idea how to set up the firewall, but when I switched it off everything works fine.
