Trying to make indicator box transparent but this part won't go away?

transparent issue.png

Hey guys, stumped on this one although I'm sure it's stupidly easy. I'm trying to the indicator box completely transparent. I've succeeded in most areas. But on the right hand side of the value, there's a light gradient and an arrow. It's like my box isn't big enough, but when I enlarge it it never goes away. I've tried messing with the properties to no avail. Anyone have any idea on what I can do to get rid of it?

Obviously, your content is larger than the indicator and you are getting the overflow fade. Could it be you have a linefeed at the end of your string? In that case you can make it as wide as you like and the shade will remain unless you also resize vertically.

(try temporarily switching to \-codes to see nonprintables.)

This is actually a double type indicator 🙂

So weird. Like I said I tried expanding the box by clicking and dragging it to make it bigger

Ok well......I just barely saw that I could disable text overflow under the visible items menu and that got rid of it.

I don't know why I would need it since I wasn't overflowing...
