Trying to recognize PXI-5922 digitizer

Solved!
Go to solution

I have only been using LabVIEW for about a day now, so everything is more or less still new to me.  I've worked through most of the getting started guide to become aquainted with the program.  Right now I am trying to get it to recognize a NI-DAQmx device.  This device has been used before (but not by me), so I am pretty sure everything should be installed correctly.  One thing I noticed is that when I turn the chassis on, the LEDs on the digitizer do not turn on with it.  I came across this when trying to find possible solutions, http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/371133m.pdf  In the trouble shooting guide, there is a section for this exact problem.  It points me to Measurement and Automation explorer to try and reset and self test the device.  The problem is, once I reach it I am greeted with this Measurement and Automation

Maybe I am just overlooking a step since I have only been using this program and equipment for about a day, but could someone put in some input.  Thanks.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do. You have said that you are using LabVIEW but apart from that, I have no idea what you are doing. The device looks to be okay in MAX though it would be nice to see the software section and what version of NI-Scope that you have installed.

If the driver is installed, you can go to Start>Programs>National Instruments>NI_SCOPE>SCOPE Front Panel. In LabVIEW and from the block diagram, you have the Instrument I/O>NI-SCOPE palette with the NI-SCOPE Express function.

I actually got it working on my end since my last reply.  Thanks though.
