ULx with .net causing digital outs to trigger when just need analog voltage read

Hey,

I am using an old PCI-DAS1602/16 card to read some analog voltages in labview.  I am using Labview 2011 and use the Ulx for Labview drivers from measurement computing.  http://www.mccdaq.com/software.aspx.    It seems I'm able to read 8 channels of analog data correctly but for some reason when I do a bunch of relays in my system start firing off.  I literally just create a task and then read in a while loop so I shouldn't be outputing anything but apparently I might be somehow activating the digital outs possibly?  When I start my program I get a warning that "Ulx_LV version 2.0.0.0 is expected but found ULx_LV version 2.1.0.0".  Maybe this different version is activating something differently?  Anyone have strange problems like this when using ULx drivers or .net?  Thanks in advance!

acolbourn,

I can't say that I have ever encountered this sort of problem before. It might be a good idea to start by getting in contact with MCC to ask them if it may have to do something with the ULx driver. I believe this is the link for getting in contact with their customer support. http://www.mccdaq.com/contact.aspx. Let us know if that gets you anywhere!

Thanks.  Ya, I've been talking to them but no luck so far.  I'm starting to think that the software and card are actually functioning properly and that I'm dealing with some weird ground loop or something in my other electronics.  I'll post updates on here if it turns out to be solvable through software.

Hello,

Have you had a chance to do any troubleshooting with ones who develped the ULx driver?

Otherwise, I have not seen a solution to this issue before on my end.  Thanks!
