Hello,
I am using a USB-7002 end device. It is detected in Windows Device Manager and I have also used the NI VISA Driver Wizard and the device appears. However, it is not showing up in NI MAX under "Devices and Interfaces".
I have tried the following,
- Changed USB ports and cables
- Verified the device is listed in Device Manager
Please let me know how to get the USB-7002 device to show up in NI MAX or if any additional configuration is needed.
Thank You!

Are you talking about this one?
Mind to share more information on the exact "USB-7002" device you are talking about?
Generic information:
NI-MAX is used to manage NI hardware: nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, this is the device

So I repeat:

Your device is no hardware made by NI…

How does that device "appear"?
When it provides a COM port then you should see the COM port in MAX.
Do you? (Please provide screenshots to explain what you are talking about. A picture is worth a 1000 words…)

Connected a C-to-C cable from the device to the PC. I can see the device in Device Manager and NI-VISA Driver Wizard but it’s not showing up in NI MAX.
Device-->C-to-C cable-->PC

I guess you talk about USB-C, do you?

I repeat again:
NI-MAX is to manage NI hardware.
(Additionally it can manage regular COM ports for NI tools.)
How often do I need to repeat this?

How does it appear in DeviceManager? (Screenshot…)
Why do you think using the NI-VISA DriverWizard will help you in any way? Do you know how to handle the raw USB communication with your device?
Does the manufacturer provide any drivers for its hardware?
What does the (programming) manual for your hardware tell about its communication capabilities?
(We will not do the RTFM for you, that's your job…)
