USB Analogue Joystick

I am running LabVIEW 8.2 on Windows XP. I have a Saitek Force Evo
analogue USB joystick, which I want to use to control two actuator
motors (corresponding to the two joystick axes).

The regular LabVIEW "Input Device Control" VIs do not appear to be
good enough. These VIs can get the info from the fire buttons, but not
the analogue stick itself.

I don't want to consider any motion control hardware because this
project is already overbudget. I do however have all the LabVIEW
Motion Control VIs so if there is a way to use that without buying a
new interface that would be fine.

Has anybody done this before? I can't find a solution on any of the
forums. Any help much appreciated.

No worries - I didn't realise the Input Device Control VIs have been
updated since 7.1. My 8.2 version is working fine now.

Sorry.
