Thanks for posting the llb.  I did not have LV 7.0 and DSC 7.0 on my system but I was able to try this in 7.1 LabVIEW and DSC.  I received the attached message after I attempted to build the exe.  However, I selected close VI and then save subVIs on the extra dialog boxes that popped up.  I was then able to build the executable.  Are you seeing a similar situation to mine or when you attempt to close the VIs it does not allow you to.

I see the same window as shown in your image file.  And it does not allow me to close the Vis even after pressing the "Close VIs" button.

By the way, I am not using DSC.  I posted my question in this thread 'cos someone had a similar problem, but was using DSC.
