Unable to connect to Opto22OPCServer using datasockets?

Am using datasockets to connect to opto22OPCServer, no error is returned execpt the quality returned is 8, and no data, if i use a 3rd party OPC test software it connects to the PLC tags fine and data can be read, is there something else i need to configure to get NI datasockets to work with the opto22OPServer?

Any ideas please?

Would it be possible to post the code you are working with? Also, does the 'Select URL' VI allow you to browse to the OPC Server, and enumerate tags? Firewalls enabled on the computer may also block the communication ports for LabVIEW, which may be different from 3rd party software, can firewalls be disable temporarily?
