Unable to copy graph images from Labview

In Labview 7.1, I could select a 3D plot and paste the image directly into a Powerpoint or image document.  In Labview 8.0, it shows up as a blank box saying "Control could not be Loaded".  Is there another way to select graphics from Labview 8.0? or do i have to go through the trouble of a print screen and cropping.

Thanks

try using the Invoke Node -> Get Image.  I'm not sure how well it works though.

Do you want to do this programatically, or do you simply just want to right click on the graph, goto data opperations and then select copy data.  Now wou can paste it into office.  What you were doing was trying to copy and paste the entire activeX control through object embedding.

I do not want to do it programatically, the method you described didn't work.  When I tried to paste into a powerpoint, I got the same grey box as before.

If you just need the image, can you do a Print Screen?

Hello Matt,

It works just fine for me with LabVIEW 8 and PowerPoint.  Try pasting it into a blank image in MS Paint to see if that works, it might be a setting in Office somewhere....

Intensity and waveform graphs work fine.  It's the 3D Surface Graph that won't work in Labview 8.  I tried it on another computer so I don't think it's just me.  Any other ideas?

Thanks

Hello Matt,

I have bad news and good news.  The good news is that you aren’t doing anything wrong which leads us to the bad news – this has been reported as known issue in LabVIEW for 8.0 (CAR  ID 3U6HCSRL).  This is something we will investigate but we have no updates on it yet.  For now it looks like our good friend <ctrl><alt><printscreen> with some photoediting will be the way to go.

I do apologize for any inconvenience this will cause!
