That library is, literally, nothing but a trivial top-level VI that opens the serial port and writes a command to the serial port (a command you have to enter on the front panel), and all of the serial port VIs that are part of vi.lib. Those serial port VIs do not belong in the library - you should be linking to the serial port VIs in vi.lib. Besides, those VIs have been rewritten using VISA. The top-level VI can be replaced the Basic Serial Port Read and Write example that ships with LabVIEW.

Convert it yourself. LabVIEW 8.6 has no issues with opening a version 6 file.

I have a request, i would like to upconvert the driver for Wayne Kerr 3260B.

The current version is for Labview 5.1 and Labview 2011 says this version is too old to convert.

I posted the same request in :

RTSLVU did mass compile it in LV 8.21, but LV 2011 shows error saying some files are missing.
