Updating old programs from Labview v8 to 2016

It is also set to Delayed Start.  How soon after booting the PC would you say it was when you started your program?

This whole "Delayed Start"  thing for services I had not really seen before until fairly recently.  Actually, something a colleague  was doing he had a service that was Automatic (Delayed Start) which had been running for me, but wasn't running for him.  He admitted he had rebooted.  I don't know how long it had been between.  It wasn't the Variable Engine service.

If you have further problems after investigating more, consider trying to set that service to regular Automatic.

What you see there is the situation after I had modified it and set it running.

It is still set to Automatic but it does not run ever

thanks

I wonder if you'll find anything meaningful in the Windows Event Viewer

thanks , something else to check.

I'm wondering if is our (UniSA) PC security policy that is interfering with it.

Seen that on another instrument PC
