Using Test Executive under LabVIEW 8.0

We have an older system that used Test Executive under LabVIEW 4.0. Due to a hradware failure I have had to update the PC, DAQ boards and thus the software, and am now using LabVIEW 8.0. I would like to simply convert everything I'm using to 8.0, but can't seem to get the Test Executive to load the sequences.

Has anybody else tried to run and older Test Executive under new LabVIEW version and had any luck? I would rather not have to upgrade to TestStand if not necessary.

Thanks!

Hi Blair,

None of the Test Executive tool kits have been tested for use with LabVIEW 8.0. There is a Test Executive Sequence Converter tool in TestStand 3.5 - so if you were to purchase TestStand and had your Test Executive sequences up to the most recent version of Test Executive (5.1.1) - you could use your old Test Executive sequences in TestStand 3.5.

Have a good one Blair!

Hi,

One of our customers use TET in LV6.1 and LV7.1. I don't know if it took much effort to convert, but it is possible. I expect some problems with coercing, at least.

Regards,

Wiebe.
