Using a microphone to acquire data in labview

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to using Labview, and I'm having difficulties to solve on my own.

It'be really helpful if somebody who knows how to solve this problem could please help me.

Well to start off, I'm using an Usb-6343 Device to acquire data from a microphone that I had bought earlier.

I'll leave the datasheets of both gadgets below. The microphone uses a BNC cable to send its outputs, but since my Usb-6343 device doesn't use Bnc cables, I;m using an adaptor that would change BNC to +/- outputs. I've tried to read the data as Voltage inputs and current inputs, but it doesn't read that way. And I've tried to read it every possible way with the Ni device and Labview, but the only way I know is that the microphone works with the Ni-9234 device that's able to read sound pressure and TEDS sound pressure.

Could anybody please tell me how to read the microphone's output with the USB-6343 device?

Thank you in advance.

The short answer is that your microphone requires external power that the USB-6343 does not provide.

You may be able to use your USB DAQ with the addition of an external power supply for your microphone.  Check your mic specifications.

Gras makes a Power Module (12AL) that can run on 2 AA Alkaline batteries, as well as other ways to power your microphone.
