Using the DAQ Assistant to Automatically Generate LabVIEW Code

Hi

i'm newbie. I have LabVIEW 7.1 & latest MAX installed.

I followed NI tutorial "Using the DAQ Assistant to Automatically Generate LabVIEW Code" (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4656)  to work with DAQ Assistant using USB 6008. I get input from extrenal source and generate output but when i create convert the task and generate labVIEW code it gives me an error "Error -200088 occurred at DAQmx Read (Analog 1D Wfm NChan NSamp).vi"

anyone help me reslove this problem

This appears to be a known issue with LabVIEW 7.1. Please refer to,

Knowledgebase Error -200088 Running My NI-DAQmx Application in LabVIEW 7.1.

The issue was fixed in LabVIEW 7.1.1. However, the workaround is to place any DAQmx VI before the nodes. However, without seeing your code it is hard to tell if this could be your issue. Could you please attach the code - if the changes you make don't work/don't apply.

I believe the Maintenance Release is a free upgrade and should be able to download it from ni.com/downloads.

I have updated labVIEW to 7.1.1 and it has fixed this problem thank you very much, u have been great help
