Good day, I am currently tasked with designing the VI in labview to do the following
"A LabView program to receive input data from a
motor
and a transducer and show them on the screen. The
program must have possibility to change the
direction
and speed of motor. Also the program should be
able
to
plot the graph of the collected data." We have purchased some new equipments such as
multifunction DAQ-NI 6221, a motion
controller:-PCI-7344 and a host of other modern
devices. Now i have been tasked with putting it
all
together. I have never worked with a motion controller, so I am not sure where to start. I will appreciate every assistance.

Hi Leye,
I agree with Andre, examples are a great starting point. We have a tool called the Example finder that lets you explore the numerous examples that ship with LabVIEW.
To access the example finder, go to Help»Find Examples....
In the Example Finder, navigate to Hardware Input and Output»Motion Control»Application Demo.
This folder has some examples that are appropriate for you. To learn speed and direction control of a single motor, refer to "Single Axis Test.flx".
Take a look at Velocity Profiling(Template).vi to look at plotting motor data.
