Well, I'm sure you could tell them where to go...wink smiley

Instead of using the preplaced component areas, you could just wire the AO+ terminal block connection to the cap, other side of cap to R, opposite side of R to AO gnd terminal block.

AO+  --------C-------
                              |
R    Take voltage across R as filtered AO
                              |
AO Gnd --------------

So much for my ASCII schematic skillsindifferent smiley

Hope it helps. Is the hi F noise the same frequency as your analog input sample rate? What specific cable are you using between your card and SCB-68; is it bare ribbon or round heavy shielded. How long is it?

Yes the noise is definatley the same frequency as my analog input sample rate.

I have no experience with this card or using analog outputs, but:

Have you tried using differential input mode on the analog inputs, if possible, this might clear up the noise issue. Bias resistors may be needed, check the manual.

Could you be loading down the analog output signals, they have a +/-5mA drive capability maximum.

Analog gets the cookie.

Im good now.

BUT i have to run the laptop off the battery, or else there is NO analog output from the card. Its like poltergeist but hey it works.

Thanks for the ascii diagram, it did help.
