VI to Initialize All To Default Values?

Hi,

Whilst developing LV progs I often use the 'Reinitialize All To Default' option from the Operate menu to clear all previous values at the start of a run.

Rather than doing this by hand or rather by mouse each time is there a vi I can put at the start of my program toReinitialize All To Default values? I've had a look but can't find anything.

Also, when I put a sub vi down in my program I allways right click on it and choose Visible->Label ON so as I know what the vi is. Is there any way I can get LV to do this by default?

Thanks,
Dave.

To set default values, use the VI class method Reinitialize All To Default. Select Invoke Node from the Application Control palette, right click and select Select Class>VI Server>VI and then right click and select Methods>Reinitialize All To Default.

To automatically show subVI names, go to Tools>Options>Block Diagram and select Show subVI Names when dropped.

Dave-
It is a method. Obtain a reference to the VI you want to reinitialize and wire that reference to a invoke node (application control -> invoke node). Then select method -> reinitialize all to default.

See attached screen shot.

Not sure about your second question.

Thanks, that works ok.

Thanks, that seems to work ok.
