VI to convert "gamma(rho) & phase" data to "r & jx" data for smith plots

Hi,

I am working on a Anritsu Site Master S113B instrument driver application that can
display the captured data on a smith chart.

My problem is that the S113B sends the data as "gamma(rho) and phase" value, the
smith chart requires data as "r and jx" value.

Maybe some one has written a VI, or knows the equation to do the conversion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try polar to complex function under numeric function palette, but be sure phase angle is in radians.
