VI to interchange GPIB Commands (Ideas needed)

How did you setup the "old" equipment in your message here. I am using  the 8756 and the 8350?

hi ! I'm trying to connect computer with 8350B/8757A too.

8350B can't read *IDN? this command.

But you can type other code in i8350B  manual-->programing note.

There's aHP-IB program code table.

In NI MAX -->Devices and Interfaces --> GPIB0(GPIB - USB - HS)-->instrument x(number)--> communicate with instr --> type "code" --> write

some code only can write. some codes can read data after write.

if you don't have manual, you can search other instru manuals 8350A/C/D or 8351...etc.
